PC OR Console? Oh My, Why Not Both?

I really do not understand, why such a stark distinction seems to be necessary here. Me, on PS4 I adore the "Far Cry" series (and have been a captice fan and buyer for years now), as well as "The Witcher 3 (Wild Hunt)", and on PC I have played many games since my early youth, and recently various role-playing games (like "Baldurs Gate 3", "Pathfinder"), tactical simulators (the "Total War" series in almost all its shades), or sandbox games like "Crusader Kings 3" or "Stellaris". I guess, I have spent too much times in front of screens altogether (which is quite ironic when I consider that I am typing this right now)...
