I'm just a typical gamer that really finds fun in video games. I play console games, but I also play online games like League of Legends, and even World of Warcraft. But WoW for me is getting dull and I may be slipping away from it unless I find a reason not to. I'm 25 years old and have just graduated from College. But my problem is, one thing I really looked forward to in college is finding a girlfriend just right for me. Well, I never found a single girlfriend, never went on a date, have never dated anyone ever. It's sad to say I am just too afraid to approach woman because I am just too nice of a person. And I know as a fact that most woman typically end up dating complete douches that walk all over them. I find myself too nice to people, and I believe that maybe that is my problem.
All I really want to do is find a girl who is into the same things as myself, but because I'm 25 and have never had a girlfriend, my confidence and self-esteem are both 0. It's a catch 22 really, the fact that I can't get a girlfriend unless I have lots of confidence and lots of self-esteem, but have no self-esteem or confidence because I've never had a girlfriend. I once had a girl call me cute, but she then walked away before I had the chance to say anything. It's not that I'm bad looking, I actually know that I'm actually pretty good-looking, it's just that I'm afraid to make that initial step.
I have always just hoped for a girl to come up to me and engage me in a conversation, rather than me having to make that awkward small talk. But unfortunately, the double standard that exists in this world, that the men have to make the first move will forever loom over me.
I've been suffering from immense depression for the past 10 years, because of how lonely I am at all times. But I know that if I had a girl in my life, that would change.
To me, your life isn't worth living unless you had someone that loves you.
