Mildly Geekotic I'm an oddball. *grins* I'm actually proud of that fact, too. I'm a nonconformist and pride myself on being unique.

I'm a whopping 33 years old (said as bones gently creak) and have two fantastical, magical, amazing(ical?) kiddos. My daughter is 14 (please STOP growing up) and my son is 9 (ummm, please STOP growing up, too). They are my everything... and I'd be absolutely nothing without them.

Mildly Geekotic - maybe I've understated the 'Mildly' bit of it. I'm extremely dorky. I like paperwork and homework. I still watch cartoons and even cry during some of them. I play games a lot - console, PC, card & board games. I listen to music that most people wish never existed (gabber - look into it but don't let your brain explode). I typically read only fantasy, sci-fi, and children's books - Lemony Snicket, Harry Potter, etc. My movie tastes are similar - sci-fi, fantasy, kids movies (animated and not)... and action movies, especially with martial arts. I like comedies and a few horror movies, too. I'm always saying quirky things or phrases - most of which, come from my favorite movies, books, cartoons, or silliness conjured up between my kids and me.

I often wish and daydream that the world was different - chivalry and honor with fantastical creatures and magical abilities. Narnia... Middle Earth... Hogwarts. I'd even settle on chivalry and honor alone... but sadly, that is fading, as well. Hopefully it will make a comeback, at least in my life. *smiles softly*
