Trying to date a girl that's not into gaming is just difficult... Dating girls is just difficult period. However all that aside I'm sure that there is someone out there vested in the same interests of life and philosophy that I am, and gaming is a good ground to start.
In life I'm a 25 year old male working full time as a cook and going to school what seems like the rest of the time. My hobbies are mostly internet surfing(do people still call it that?), watching videos, netflix, relaxing, going on vacation if at ever possible, play guitar and work out. I try to be creative and artistic... and intellectual even though I'm not any of those things. My main hook however is video games.
My gamer identity would be characterized as trying to be on the cusp of the true Innovative game play while actually just fanboying over my favorite characters most of the time. I actually spend a lot more time researching and watching videos on the secrets or mythology of gaming. I like talking about possibilities that gaming will have in the future. now with the Oculus rift and augmented reality most of my high school ideas are coming to life but it's a never ending battle between what technology is truly capable of versus what marketing will allow the consumer.
P.S. I really like Zelda, Kingdom Hearts, Elder Scrolls, and Melee.
