RPGer Searching for His Princess I'm what is refered to as an O.G.: "Original Gamer". Essentially, I'm a NON-VIDEO gamer. O.G.s enjoy table-top gaming such as role playing games, strategic board games, miniature battles and the like: games that were extremely popular long before video games turned most of the population into couch potatoes who rely on their thumbs more than their brains to win a game.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy an occasional video game session... but my life doesn't revolve around it and I don't spend every waking moment watching G4 drooling over the latest games to hit the market.

I enjoy a good gaming session that invloves a few friends, a few maps, a few dice and a few hours to kill. Role playing games are at the top of my list, whether it be Pathfinder/D&D, GURPS or D20. I love to escape reality for a while and do things I wouldn't normally be able to do in this life as a different character.

I also like to play strategy games and miniatures wargaming. Haven't really jumped into Warhammer and such, but I love the Axis and Allies miniature land and naval battles.

On top of all of this, I also design card and board games, I write short story collections and I'm a filmmaker.

I am not the stereotypical nerdy gamer who hasn't seen a shower in several days. I take very good care of myself hygenically and physically. I have kissed a girl (tons of them, in fact) and have actually gone so far as produce a child! LOL. I am not so into the gaming life, however, that I let it rule my real life. In other words, I don't hold endless conversations in public about die rolls and what kind of swords my barbarian carries around. That's just plain stupid and people think you're weird.

I'm just searching for a sweetheart who shares my interest in games to the point that maybe we can join a gaming group and enjoy exploring dungeons together or battling each other for dominance on the kitchen table.
