The unicorn exists Title comes from a comment made by a very ignorant classmate: "Girl gamers are like unicorns, a myth." The class in question was game design, and apparently my long hair isn't enough of a clue that I'm a girl.
Been playing since I was old enough to hold a controller (I can remember playing with my parents' Atari and then the NES as a kid). Currently have a DS and PS2, with family access to a PS3 and Wii (they're technically my brother's, but I can play them whenever I want), plus old N64, GBA, GBC, and original Gameboy, NES, and Atari in storage. Also play PC games.
The games themselves vary. Right now I tend to play simulation games (Harvest Moon is fun), but I also like action and platform games and I'm hoping they translate Layton VS Wright so I can play it without resorting to a Japanese dictionary (not that I understand the language enough to make efficient use of a dictionary, but I can try).
