I write songs, poetry, and short stories. I've been writing more songs lately, though. At this point, I have been blessed with no rhythm or panache for a musical instrument - save the violin, but I haven't touched one of those in ages. Tried playing one recently, realized that I'd forgotten everything. I plan on re-learning it eventually, though.
I tend to go off on random tangents that neither begin nor end smoothly, but I'm told that they're funny, so I keep doing them.

I am a very quiet and very introspective guy. By that, I mean that while I'm very open-minded, I embarrass easily and find conversation sometimes painfully awkward. I harbor an extreme disliking for phones, I don't own a cell phone, and I sometimes spend large amounts of time crafting a response to an e-mail or online message.

"...wow, all the guys last year from our choir left? Is he serious? Surely at least one had to stick arou- NO, I can't say that, then he'll think I think he's lying. Think, different delivery, how can I rephrase that...?"

I'm not someone who critiques potential future friends. Pretty much, as long as you're at least somewhat open-minded, I'll probably like you.
Although I've never had a good track record with overly confrontational people.

So if you can deal with that, along with my social awkwardness, then have at me.
