Well it looks like I've finally gone full-circle.


I left my birthplace of Irvine, California at the tender age of one to explore the world with my parents. I climbed (was carried) up the Swiss Alps, got lost in the jungles of Guatemala, danced with my violin in Scotland, explored pyramids, climbed cathedrals in Wales, and... well, I can tell you more later.
Anyway, somehow I'm back where I started and now I spend my time writing, reading, and playing games. Oh, and I play the piano now too.
So, do I speak Spanish, Egyptian Arabic, Gaelic, or Swiss French? Ha! Fat chance. or some reason the kid-me decided at some point that English was the best language so screw all the others... except Japanese. Gotta know some Japanese to really appreciate Anime.
What? All this worldly experience has made me a kick-ass critic in all things fiction. I get to laugh knowingly while watching Survivor, nod with respect at Game of Thrones architecture, and tear up when Yuna loses Tidus. Well I guess everyone did, but still... I get to experience all kinds of fantastic things without getting sunburned, frostbitten, or mosquito bitten!
But a bit more about me. People I've met say I'm perpetually relaxed, confident, deliberate, and soft-spoken. I enjoy long silences, philosophical discussions, and smile in the face of adversity. I do, however, also enjoy cheesy humor, spontaneous adventures, and games. Right, I mentioned that already.
