I've been gaming in some respect for almost my whole life - grew up with nintendo consoles (watching my dad play Star Tropics on the NES). I still play on the Switch sometimes, but I've mostly transitioned to PC gaming. I've hopped around various communities as an active member, generally contributing on the technical/theorycrafting side (I gravitate toward game communities that have that component). I like to do research in games to inform people about mechanics - I was part of early Genshin theorycrafting, and more recently I've been a big contributor to the Remnant 2 community.

I'm also into modding games - in the past I've modded Terraria and Starcraft 2. I really enjoy tinkering with game design in an existing sandbox.

I connect most easily with others via games. Talking about, thinking about, playing games.
