As far as games go, I'm a particularly enjoy big story-driven RPGs: the Mass Effect, Dragon Age, and Witcher franchises, along with some of the Fallout games, are favorites. I also sometimes play less action-oriented games like the first Life Is Strange or SOMA, as well as shorter linear games if they have an interesting story and sometimes sports games.

I got an early start on gaming with the TI-BASIC computer and the Atari 2600 as a kid, as well as nerddom in general with British sci-fi like Doctor Who, Blakes 7, and Hitchhikers Guide. I'm not super-outgoing by nature but pretty laid-back and easy to talk to (a predilection for long conversations is a plus). It's fair to say that I spend more time working on Excel spreadsheets, both at work and at home, than your average person. I also find politics interesting, and I hold liberal/progressive views on most issues.
