im currently stuck playing cod 6 till red dead redemption comes out then i guess it will be that :P

`Was addicted to FFXI...6 years...one day I played for 14 hours straight!
Then my addiction shifted to WoW...until I hit lvl 80...then I started losing interest...
Now I'm currently playing whatever (i.e. Assassin's Creed, RDR, LBP) to start my addiction on FFXIV.

`My computer broke for 1 week and I discovered I had friends in real life lol. No but really...when I started wow...for about..8 months ....I was heavely addicted, but that was years ago when it just came out.

`I think the closest thing for me was Diablo II over lan back in the day. I recall my friend Dan saying he needed to go home to brush his teeth at one point and although I took hygiene and snack breaks I was always right back at it asap.

Another moment of slight concern was when I was playing Star Wars Galaxies with some friends while we had Star Wars films playing in the background at the same time. Haha Still I think that's more along the lines of creepy obsessive than right out addicts.

I've played a few MMORPG's and although I enjoy them immensely they never hold my attention long enough to really call myself addicted. It's pretty much the same way for all of my hobbies.

Maybe I'm wrong...if I play a good game I like to complete it. Or get as much good play time out of it as I can. Does that mean I'll drop everything else that's important in my life? No. Unless I don't have immediate responsibilities. Then sure, why the hell not?

`Oblivion (Xbox360) was the worst in a long time: 4-6 hours a day, EVERY day...for 6 Months! Oddly enough, in all that time, I only attempted the main story line once (at a low level.spent most of the time running, drinking potions, and yelling "oh, sh--!")

Last addiction was Super paper mario (Wii), which I finished 2 weeks ago.

`Always been addicted to fighting games since Street Fighter 2. Been addicted to RPGs(mostly Final Fantasy games) since FF7. Currently I'm playing Monster Hunter Portable 3rd(200+ hours) and BlazBlue Continuum Shift Extend(40+ hours).

addiction, yes! losing sleep but haven't missed work yet. so that's a good thing right guys? my addiction currently is borderlands. i got it as a free download on playstation plus so i thought, "what the heck" and downloaded it. i heard it was a good game but i figured it wasn't my type of game. played it as soon as it was finished downloading. played for 15hrs straight the first time. yup, it's my type of game! haha! i just might have to download the extra content.

`16 hours for assassins creed 1. The ending depressed me so I had to try and find an alternate ending. Ah, so young, so naive.
