Weirdest Glitch?

Simple little topic for people to meander about with, relive some interesting memories. The title says it all, asking you to put down the most bizzare glitch you had encountered in your gaming life, not neccesarily the most "funny" or "annoying", just the one that stood out strongly.

My own personal "Weirdest Glitch" was when I had owned and played earthbound yeears back, in kid-time and I had triggered something that froze everything up... and allowed me and my party to walk OFF the map (It was at that beach city.. forgot the name) and into this weird purple...void. Some odd sounds were playing as I walked around, even the color changed slightly if I went a certain distance...
I'm not even entirely sure I had triggered a glitch.. or some bizarre code, maybe even debug, which would have been sweeet, but it deffinitely is the one to stand out in my mind ^^.

Strange observation #328 Does Gordon Freeman really need those glasses? I think it would be hilarious if he actually lost them... which he should have by now... blurry-vision.. shooting at the walls, great fun to see.

The weirdest glitch was when I was playing Mega Man 2 and I have 1 life just like the boss we would both die but for some reason I would still beat the board and still get their powers.

Another weird glitch I remember now is one that happened when I was playing a secret of mana catridge I had rented. This was yeaaaars back when I was a kid.. and something was up with that catridge.. maybe it was old, had a run in with a magnet, but glitches occured on it now and then.

I had payed it and got the final boss, and as we came up, before the fight began, or during the first seconds, the main hero vanished! I thought he was eaten perhaps or something, but he never came back.. so I couldn't finish the game! (sob) That really pissed me off.

Strange observation #351 Just what is Mario and luigi keeping under their hats to keep their craniums safe while bopping all those blocks with their noggin power?

``One that stood out in my mind was one while playing Fallout 3. I came across this Perfectly Intact Garden Gnome so i grabbed it. Later when back at my house, i threw it onto the floor, where it was one but turned into what i believed to be 17 mini, like hold in your fist mini, versions of perfectly intact garden gnomes on my floor... that was weird!

`Reviving this one, I guess. Most interesting glitch was playing Harvest Moon - btn on the PS and losing your chickens, and dog in doors. Kind of annoying because the chickens would be lost for good.

`Well it's been ages since I put up a post here, and in a thread I started! Just being too lazy I suppose.

Most recent glitch I encountered just interesting enough to put up, is terrain missing when playing Saints Row for the 360. On occasion while driving fast, huge patches of the ground or even more just disappear into thin air, though my car still is driving on something, almost makes it look like I'm driving a flying car X.x

Unfortunately there have not been any other good glitches encountered by me for a bit, nothing of real note, so I'll have to leave this to anyone else who wants to fill it up. Maybe I'll get lucky and get screwed over by something really weird soon! I am playing oblivion lately.... it's patched, but who knows if some little bug may pop up?

But seriously, the most bizarre glitch i can think of off the top of my head is probably this.

So I'm playing fallout 3 not very far in the game. I'm just on my way to visit 3 dog for the first time and i run into the son's of liberty or w/e they call them selves these days. anyway the main chick has gigantic hands. but not just huge hands waving all over the place. These where like stretched out to about 100x there size but no mass increase. so all i saw where giant black claw things waving around, scared the bejesus out of me.

`When I was playing Red Dead Redemption I remember the wagons being incredibly glitchy, one time I caught one hoping around in place so I just decided to sit and watch for a little while. At some point the wagon started shooting itself at me at full force and knocked me over, then someone snuck up and shot me (it was multi player) while I was laughing my --- off.

`my wierdest glitch would have to have been last year in halo reach. i was playing a customg game called jumprope with some friends and got hit by a wraith which sent me flying outside the map. i hit the strange water which seemed to no longer be liquid but a solid and bounced off of it each time like it was rubber. the countdown to my death also slowed dramatically.

`I remember playing Mario 64 and the moment I walked through the front door of the castle, the music turned incredibly eerie because it was slowed down about 4x and then mario started flipping the hell out and bouncing around. His body would go halfway through the floor then bounce back up. He went up and down the stairs doing crazy flips way too fast and with the combination of the slowed down music and bowser laughs, I almost crapped my pants.

I always loved in Driver for the psx when you would manage to get a cop to hit you so hard you would fly up into the sky and land "on top" of a building. But rather than landing on top you would go "through it" and fall into this infinite loop "into the sky." Eventually it would say, "you drowned." And mind was blown.

I've seen a few.

My fave is probably from World of Warcraft. In the Wrath of the Lich King expansion, I bugged the Lich king.

During a transition phase, while spitting out obs that knock people of the platform, the ranged people had forgotten about one. I hit my charge skill to reengage quickly as tank, and went right in to it.

The result of this was Arthas bugged, as it happend the split second he re-engaged the group, he bugged and jumped of the platform after me. I literally made the boss commit suicide.

`I was playing Saints Row 3 not too long ago and I was passing into Rim Jobs garage to upgrade my car. As soon as I parked inside I accidentally walked out of the car and somehow ended up free falling but I could see the city right above me. It was really weird and so I just let my character free fall to see how long it'd last before I finally died and it seemed almost endless so I popped open my parachute and just started derping around and took screenshots of the city above me.
