An old search for a screensaver... program... thing.

This may not be the best place to ask for help on this search but I feel it's worth a shot. I've been looking periodically for a OOOOLLLD screensaver for windows 9..5 maybe? It's hard to tell.
I'm not entirely sure if it was a screensaver. I saw this program running when I was just a wee 12-13 year old kid at a store, a demo computer was running it and it was a first person view going through this... city scape. It was like the view was going through buildings, into rooms, up windy staircases, and there were... cutouts of people that were having drinks or talking. There was some soft.. "crowd" noise but not much.

This program, screensaver or whatever has been bugging me for years and I'm hoping to run this question through one or two places on the hopes someone has a clue what I'm talking about.

Any help on this from anyone with a spark of interest, would be appreciated. .

Else I may just have to find some creative people to work for free for making such a screensaver for myself lol.
